MOE MOSHER, Vice President of Property
Gerald Mosher grew up on a farm in Michigan; “Mr. Moe” joined the Navy and used his farm experience of cutting hair to become a barber. While in the navy, Mr. Moe met his lifelong love and wife, Marina, who lived in Key West and decided to stay. He has been a licensed barber for 54 years and was appointed to the Florida Barbers Board where he served for nine years and was chairman for another four years. He has also been on the National Master Barbers Board for four years. Like the other members of the partnership, Moe is also a leader in the community having served as past president of the Key West Rotary Club and has served on the Monroe County Federal Teachers Credit Union for the past 26 years as vice president and, now, president and chairman of the board. “Being able to raise my family in Key West and watch it change from a prosperous community and then come back from a depressed economy in the 1970s has been one of my greatest challenges and accomplishments. “It has been a great ride and I still have a way to go. Can you imagine what this place will be like when Cuba opens?” says Moe.
